Sure glad the two guys from Uncle were in no hurry. The AN-2 needed a shake down after maintenance. Preflighted the old bird. The maint folks had it all spiffed up looking good. YEAH. The two government guys were not overly happy about flying in such an old plane. T O U G H luck duds. Checked route over to Lake Weantchee and it showed me going up to clear some silly old mountains. No way. Plotrted a way to go staying at 045 and flying the valleys. Much nicer scenery this way. Well, we stumbled off the strip with some smart a__ pilot asking me if we needed a push or stronger rubber bands. I have to admit that my Grandmother walks faster than this tub, excuse me, plane, flys. If nothing else I get to look at more scenery longer. Got the over stuffed dudes there, deplaned them and I spirted off with Johnny Mathis singing on the radio. What a voice after all these years. 1.2 Floating time. Supper: BW has a Pork Lomo cooking covered with a lot of black pepper and some other stuff, creamed corn, green beans and of course a nice light wine. Life doesn't get any better than this. ;D ;D ;D ;D
