The skybus model by Barry Blaisdall (d6skyb42.zip) is the aircraft that will be used for the first joint MP with Virtual Flight Group. Each VA will use the same aircraft but in their own paint schemes so we will need to have this aircraft painted in AAS colors. If one of you wants to repaint it great, if not, Joao at AW has offered to repaint it for us. Someone would just need to send him any templates, logos, colors, etc...
Just let me know if we need to get Joao to do the repaint.

Dunno if you guys are as big a fan of virtual cockpits as I but this twin otter has one. Search for 'dhc-6_requin.zip' available at www.avsim.comNote: there's two versions with the same .zip filename... one for FS2002 and FS2004. Might not be too hard to do an AAS scheme for this one. I just don't fly 'em if they don't have virtual cockpits but then I'm using a head tracker to look around. Prof K.

hey proffesor,i was gona ask you if that was a vc shot in your pirep.i actually went and got the lago dhc-6 because it had a vc ,but the visual model is horable.so i canned it..the d6skyb42 looks much better but had no vc....if i,am not mistaken the dhc6requin model is based on the dl frank mentions..i had it once but it did,ent have a vc either..maybe its been updated and hopfully the paint already here will work on it also....WeDGe ps no VC/no fly

The model that we use does not have a VC but it does have a 2D panel that includes 360 views. I like VCs too but if an aircraft has a 2D panel with 360 views then I don't need a VC. Even if it has a VC, I don't use it exclusively, I use both the VC and the 2D panel.

Rgr that guys. Sounds like AAS has already established the standard. As Frank mentions in my pirep thread, Barry may be developing a new version of his twin otter that would also have a VC (I'm assuming that would be compatible with the existing AAS paint job). So, Wedge, I'd recommend getting the dhc6requin model for the VC, but you and I will likely use it for those missions at Misty's or elsewhere All a matter of personal prefs, but I can also understand why standardized a/c is a very good idea for a virtual airline.
