Here are a few shots...

It took me all day to place those runway end markers... I was about to give it up. Finally, I got it and spent several hours getting the placement right (eight total markers at the ends of two runways).



Back to gmax to update the woodpile with new end and top textures...

I made this while my kids napped today (about 2 hours, start to finish)!!!


And in the works....


Hopefully placing these will go smoother than the rwy end markers. I'll post the updates as I get time. I was hoping to have the basic scenery done by now so I could post a charter. I'm gonna need supplies if I'm gonna get things built out there Hopefully I'll get a chance to work at ti some this week ;D ;D

Looks good Greg! Texture mapping odd shapes is one of the trickiest things in Gmax, but it looks like you've got the hang of it.

After some texture surfing, I completed this set:



I'm also working on a firepit. Rocks are pretty hard to model, and this may look okay, it has about 3500 polygons at the moment. I may have to try something less complex.
