Here is a prelim shot of the bush strip at my place on the ridge just inside Lake Clark National Park: As soon as I get some more macros finished I'll upload a charter to bring up supplies. A BIG thanks to Paul who graciously provided guidance in getting started with Sbuilder. I would be landing on a flat AFCAD runway (and not too happy about it either ) if it were not for his help. Thanks Paul!!! -Greg

Slow Progress... I finally got the runways looking fairly good. I dropped the Hanger Frame in there just to see what it will look like, and as you can see from the pic, I'll need to make some of the vertical members longer on the downhill side. Slow progress, but progress ;D ;D ;D -Greg

Progress on leveling the hanger... I did not like taxiing into the hanger and not being level, so I decided to try to build up the ground to the level of the hanger.... You can see I made my own "survey kit" with each segment being 10 centimeters. Now I am working the process of moving individual verticies to transition from the hanger floor level to the surrounding ground. I have not textured this part yet, you are seeing the color I assigned in gmax. At this point, I'm having much less frustration with the scenery design process and progress is more quickly realized. -Greg

Now if I could just figure out how to apply the texture properly... arrgh!!! I can't figure it out. It looked great in gmax: Looks like I'll have to figure out how to do seasonal textures as well -Greg
