Howdy all,
I know we have all sorts of folks on AAS from pure flyers to folks who spend more time making scenery than flying (like myself).
Maybe I missed it somewhere but I was wondering if we could establish a sticky thread on a scenery "wish list"
I work on scenery as my time permits and my projects tend to reflect my own tastes. I generally prefer to work on things to look at along the way or on enhancing existing airports with cargo buildings, etc. It is possible to have too many custom airports in an area. Flying cars never really became a mainstream commodity so I think it's safe to say that a few scattered airports are likely to be suficient and realistic.
Even so, I'd like to know what types of sceneries folks would use.
Also, with the recent publication of FSCargo, is anyone interested in creating dropoff/pickup areas for all of our stops?

That's a great idea. I will start a "Wish List" thread and make it a sticky later today. I am on the way out the door right now so I will get it started a little later.

Could someone enlighten me with respect to FSCargo? Is this (yet another) add-on utility? I've heard a lot about FSPassenger, but never did buy it. Is FSCargo something like that?

FSCargo is similar to FSPassenger but you only haul cargo. There is scenery included for your cargo bases. From what I understand, it is somewhat limited in that you only get to fly assignments between limited locations (the included scenery).

Actually, FSCargo has a built in editor that allows for very easy addition of cargo areas (while running FS2004). Folks over at www.simflight.com are sharing files for many of their own created cargo destinations. FSCargo does have a few limitations however. It randomly generates the hop based on current location and desired flight duration. Not alot of options yet but there's supposed to be some free enhancements down the road. Lacks an economic model though... your score is based on the time taken to deliver the goodies. I'm trying to convince them to build in a extensive hop list capability rather than just random task generation. The FSCargo manual's available for free via the following link: www.fsaddon.com/download_files/FSCargo_color_man.zip
