More of a general request than anything, but - I wouldn't have objections to perhaps adding some enhancements to some Southeast Alaska airports (i.e., places like Ketchikan, Annette Island, etc), either one of which could be turned into an IFR capable AAS hub for flights that can extend northwest along some really scenic coastline and perhaps even flights into the Canadian interior.
If nothing else, they could be added as hubs through FSEconomy as a pit stop before they transit up through our Juneau field office.

We already have a scenery/hub for Ketchikan.

Yukon would work. I have been wanting to add a base there for sometime but just haven't decided where.

Possibly a good start would be to establish a "hub map". I assume our hubs are the areas in the scenery library. Good reason for me to start downloading all of the sites.

i found it ..flying around the yukon tonight ...i was thinking white horse int,l . would be a good place for a hub but the surronding area is kinda bland so i went further north to a few airports most are just gravel strips with no scenery what so ever but MAYO {cyma}..has a ndb and pasi lights with a couple of buildings and a vacant ramp across the runway for a AAS hanger..the runway is still very bumpy being gravel but its 4,000ft long which helps....there are also a couple of short gravel mountain strips "sheldon lake" and "macmillion pass" that make good future forward bases for the hunter and camper groups... its late but i,ll post some pics tommorow..WeDGe

Sounds interesting. I will be not have access to FS for a few days so some screenshots of the area would be nice.

here is mayo....this airport happens to be approx 330miles east of fairbanks and 320 miles west of norman wells which is on the boarder of the yukon and northwest territories..good midway point overhead on the ground mountains all around and 1 taller bigger one stands out among the rest ..i wonder what its name is? norman wells airport i dont believe that i have any mesh that covers the area so these are default elevations, and ut canada /alaska landclass which up north in the snow isent much different then default...WeDGe

Well that definitely has potential. What does everyone think?

Both of them have a lot of potential - thanks to Wedge's scouting party

Hmmm... checked it out. Think my FSGenesis mesh may be scewing up the area a little (not sure if it covers there or not)
The river looks a bit elevated above the surrounding landscape and I have a rogue bridge that just kinda juts out over about 1/10th the river surface.
The airport itself looks to be in good shape and it wouldn't be hard to put a AAS building there.

I recall being particularly fond of CAB5. I'll post some pics if I get a chance in the next day or two. If you want to experience the beauty for yourself, fly the valley from CAB5 to PAWG. I believe this is a shot of the last time I was in the area: -Greg
