Started making cash flying some of the bush flights at FSEconomy this weekend.
I like it. It is satisfying Will continue using it.
There several areas that would benefit from improvement to make it reasonably realistic, some already posted on this forum.
The only one that I "opinion" is wrong is: Disabling of the aircraft VOR/ADF/AP when flying VFR only flights. This is un-realistic.
I am writing to ask how do I join the AAS Group at FSEconomy? I went to the Group page and found AAS but there is no Join Icon displayed for the AAS row. Some of the others (not all) have Join Icons.
Now...It's a flight from Gillies Bay BC to Johnson,s Landing, Washington. Flying a Scout taildragger with 180 lbs of stuff. Pays $498 before rent/fuel/fees.

Don, Good to hear you are enjoying FSEconomy!!! I have been unable to fly for the last couple of weeks and we sure could use some help keeping up our loan payments. I have found ferry flights to be very enjoyable where I try to maintain a general direction and pick up jobs along the way. Check the 206 Ferry thread in the FSE pireps board for more details. I'm ferrying a 210 home at the moment, and there are several others out there. Check Aircraft >> AAS Aircraft to find them if you are interested. Enjoy , -Greg

Don,
Not sure why there is not a join link. The group is not private so it should have one. Anyway, if you will tell me what your FSEconomy ID is, I will send you an invite.

Don,
I just checked and the group was set to private. I don't remember setting it to private so I am not sure how it got that way. Anyway, it is no longer set to private so you should have a join link now.

Sorry, My computer was down for the count . But now it is all better know ;D . My FSEconomy user name is Fairweather_Air. Thanks a lot. been trying to do some flights but it sucks when you have to rent an airplane and they don't always have the one you want.

Invite sent. There really isn't much activity with the group but you are welcomed to fly the planes. Their rent is all set to $0 so you can fly them rent free. Most of the aircraft are in Anchorage but if there is one that you would like moved to somewhere else in Alaska, just ask.

The only way that the group gets anything is if you select the Fly for Aurora Air Service option before you begin your flight.
