As if you didn't know who I was flying support for... ;D Well, Sports Fans - there wasn't much to tell about this flight. Ramy went by at 07:34 (thankfully his position had improved, though I still wished he'd share his strategy) and he pressed on. In the space of about a half hour - the weather got crappy, with solid overcast at 600ft and 2.5 mile visibility. I heard a man comment to a race official that only an idiot would try and fly out this early. To which I replied: "Gentlemen, I am that idiot."I filed my IFR plan (hey...I'm not that BIG an idiot) and took off at 0845. After about 15 mins of flying through this soup, ATC finally turned me around - as soon as I descended to an altitude where I could see (and I use that term loosely), I canceled IFR. I found it after a couple of minutes of earnest searching - again with the bloody crosswinds - and landed at Golovin safe and sound. Hugs and Kisses,
