Im reporting this Charter Flight PIREP here because I accepted this flight from the Charter Flight Page BUT used my personal plane to fly it.....
Campers (PAKT-CAB5-PAPG) **COMPLETED**
2 hours 41 minutes from 1st taxi roll at PAKT until shutdown back at same.
1/2 flight over summer green covered mountians, valleys, shorelines,3/5 over "still" snow covered high mountians and passes and 2/5 ovver Misty area waters.
Hold short rw 11 at Ketchikan for company inside the ip flying the approach.
Each pax showed me their favorite pic they took enroute to BK.
pax pic 1
pax pic 2
pax pic 3
Flew my private Turbo Pilatus PC-6. Transported 3 campers and equipment from PAKT to Bronson Creek. Just for fun try to land on the numbers at CAB5 in good wx......not me....I took the Porter in to a right dowind to rw 3, which is unusual in it's self.
Dropped off the campers and took on 4 engineering folks at BK.
DeDe on out of BK
On the wat to Johnson Petersburg, my pax destination.
Landings are one of the endlessy enjoyable tasks required in flying. Tis one was no different on straight in final to rw 22 at Johnson Petersburg
After seeing my pax and equip saftely deplaned at JP I lucked out and picked up 2 pressurized tanks of inert Argon gas and twelve, 2 ft tall, bundles of the local One Nation news periodical, all awaiting delevery to Ketchikan. Thought Id make no cash on this last leg but lucky for me commerce never sleeps....even in the remote NW.
Flying between layers is another fantastic view of nature that pilots are privleged to see.
On the way back to PAKT you can "Just" see Wrangell off the Port beam a little to the rear.
This is a just because I Like It pic.
And Home Again
