I caught a flight back to PAMR with a friend who flies with ERA, and came up with an idea enroute. Knowing that supplies were still needed on the far end of the trail, I decided to pack the 130 to its gills with as much stuff as I could haul, and get it out to where it was needed. I departed... just a little on the heavy side (about 400lbs), and figured I'd need about all of the runway. Here, I'm lumbering down 24... I was right... almost to the end... About the time I neared Finger Lake, thanks to the fuel burn, my weight reached a legal level again... Passing over McGrath... Setting up for final at 2C7... And, slamming on the breaks... Unloading at 2C7... Now, for the short flight to PAKK... On final... Delivering dog food and all the other goodies... Empty and back into the air, enroute to PAMC... Starting my descent into PAMC... Almost there... Off the active and stopping at the door. Now, to jump into my trusty B412 and catch up with Jeremy!
