Well, Iditarod 2008 is only three months away. With the current status of Alaskan Winds, I am not sure the they will be around to host their annual event this year. The topic has come up over at Bushpounder's Alaska (Don Moser's site) of co-hosting the event with us. I have started a planning discussion over there so what I need to know is:
Is there anyone here who wants to fly in the event?
and
Is there anyone here who wants to help with the planning?

I had a lot of fun last year, so I'd be interested in flying again this year. This being only my 2nd year, I'm not sure what I would be able to provide in the planning area, but I'll help out where I can.

OK, here is the news. JP from AW says he will be back at the beginning of the year and that AW will be doing the Iditarod. Well, that is good but..........Don Mose and I have decided to go ahead and do our own Iditarod with AAS and his ABC.
Don has set up a board over at his forums for the Iditarod. Anyone interested in flying or helping with the planning, please check in over at Don's site. Also, folks are starting to sign up and pick their Mushers so head on over to Don's site and claim your Musher. Some of you are members of both AAS and ABC so if you will also indicate if you are flying for AAS, I would appreciate it.

Hi all! Make sure you are stopping by my forums for updates and to give input about the race. We're in the planning stages, and your input is very valuable.
Besides, Frank is buying the beers (German beer at that!) at the Red Beaver for all those who show up. I'd hate to pay that bill!!

Yup Done that!
I am just uninstalling FSX and putting FS9 back on.
I tell ya FSX is a two edged sword!
The graphics are sweet as, but the flight dynamics and the bugs and lack of side views really sux!
I am looking forward to flying a good helicopter!
I have missed ya all, been silly busy with my museum and kids and life and .... .....
I have satellite Internet now so I would like to try to do an on-line flight too.

Hey Wild Man!
Great to have you back! Can't wait to share the skies with you again in this year's Iditarod.
Don't forget to visit the Iditarod 2007 forum for Frank's message about the pilot banners for last year. Yours is over at the Alaskan Winds page.
