Yep, I do. Wouldn't fly helos otherwise. It is a bit squirrely, sometimes it works great and other times it won't work at all.

I'm a hands-on type myself, but there have been times I have used it. Like Frank said, sometimes it is squirrely! I use it sometimes on the very long hauls, but I prefer to be hands-on.

I have a Panel with both Autopilot and Auto Hover I used to use the auto hover to land.
NOT NO MORE! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I agree with using AP on long flights ....... my thoughts would be if ya going ya use AP all the time ya might as well be flying a 747 at fl35.
What I like about helicopters is getting up close and personal with earth.
(typical nature photographer eh!)
Now that would be cool A MD500D for a nature photographers get about the bush wagon! ;D ;D ;D ;D
