Hi Guys Here is an idea. How about a Helicopter Heavy lift Operations Section. It can use the Karmen and Skycranes Have its own charters / missions. What do you think bosses / guys? Cheers Zarik

Not a bad idea. Might be fun for some MP missions too!

Hi guys
Yea I was thinking the Karmen and the Mil that have just been painted and using Jordon Moore's Sky cranes.
(although I am not sure he will allow repaints on the sky cranes but that should not be an issue do you think?)
A separate section on the download page just under the "Normal Helis" for the big boys ;D ;D ;D
Heavy lift board and Mission area. ?
I hope I am not been to pushy ...... I am full of ....... Ideas ;D ;D ;D ;D
Where would the best place be for the heavy lift HQ ?
(To be realistic keep the big boys only at one base.)
Should it be a place on its own?
This way missions that are a long way a way, will need a ferry component as well. ?
What ya think or should I get back in my box? (Aussie saying for shut up)
Cheers Zarik

Good points mate, sounds good to me. Maybe we should have another hanger for the big boys! It's going to get crowded at Merrill!!!(PAMR) I think PAMR should be our base of operations since everything else is there. Can't stray too far from home :-) What do ya think Frank? A new heavy hanger possible?

Amen to that!

Well, depends on what you want. If you just want the ole hanger/fbo combo that I have used for several of our bases, I can place one of those sets somewhere on Merrill or anywhere else for that matter. If you want something other than that, we will have to sweet talk one of the the real scenery designers.

I think that one of the hangers you already have would work fine, they look big enough.
BTW I'm back on echolink again

Sounds great to me! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
There are some heli pads further down the taxi way at Merrill how about down there?
So all heavy missions would originate and terminate at Merrill ......... I think thats a great idea!

The problem is that in FS2004, if you are using the AFCAD file that was included with the AAS Merrill scenery, there are no additional helo pads. The only two are the ones on the AAS ramp. If you want a separate hanger with helo pads then you need to sweet talk Paul into enhancing the scenery.

Ok Wild Man, We can use this old 560 to haul parts and stuff in to get us started. Frank won't let us use the good ones to haul stuff in until we're well established and making money. We'll probably have to hire a couple of good mechanics to work on our heavy helos also. We can haul some old used desks, tool boxes, jacks and people in this bird to get us setup in the new hanger (wherever it will be). Might not have to go anywhere ;D ;D We can fly down to Anchorage to get the mechanics, ain't none up here. Hopefully we will get some orders from some construction companies up in this area to get us on our feet. In the meantime, this old bird will be our temporary office. I need to get the new textures for the Kaman to Frank after we get permission to use them. Now, roll up them sleeves mate, let's get to work ;D ;D
