I've almost completed the creation of my own paint kit for the B-412 (got tired of waiting on the "official" version), and I hope to get started working on an Aurora Air Service repaint soon. ;D ;D

Almost ready! I'm close to completing the repaint, and will get things packaged up and off to Frank. There will be four variations, all using the same set of textures in order to conserve disk space... a "Slick" variant, an "SAR" variant, an "Ambulance" variant and an "Offshore" variant. Here are some shots of the "Offshore" variant...

When we lost our server a while back, the images got lost too. I'll see about creating some new ones to fill in the voids.

G'day Tom
I am having trouble shutting the 412 down. Is it me or a trick I need to know to get silence and rotor stop?
Cheers WM

WM,
First off, you have to make sure both throttles are at 0%. To do that, you have to click the Idle Stop button on the collective head for each engine, then within a second or two, decrease the throttle to zero using the red "-" buttons on the collective. If you're quick about it, you can click Idle Stop for engine 1, then engine 2 and immediately zero both. I don't recall how many seconds you have to do that, but it's quite short.
Make sure the generator and battery switches are off, as well as the fuel flow switches, and the engines should shut down.
Even when that's all done, the rotors will take FOREVER to slow down. One thing I do is increase the collective (throttle), which slows them down much faster.
Hope that helps!
